The program deals with the traditions related to the harvest season in rural areas. The farmers start harvesting using traditional tools, singing popular songs. Then, they transport what was harvested on donkey backs from the field to the threshing floor. The next step is threshing, it is done with donkeys or horses. Once they finish, grains are separated from hay using a pitchfork. As to the modern harvesting process, it is done by a machine which is quicker, and wheat bags are transported by trucks or tractors. The program also mentions traditional storing process in "El matmoura" (a big hole), and the modern one in silos. The harvesting season represents an important time in the life of these farmers.Type
