Abstract

With the partnership of the European Union, a new means of transport has been established between Rabat and Salé. It is the tramway which is going to link different areas in the two cities. Simulations and campains of awareness to the inhabitants in general and children in particular are beig carried out simultaneously. The objective of this project is to lessen the pressure of traffic between the two cities and reduce pollution caused by means of transport. As a matter of fact, the tramway’s source of energy is electricity, and its capacity is much bigger than cars or public transport buses.
