Abstract

Within the framework of the European Union MEDA program, and with the partnership of Sidi Rahal community in El Kelaa des Sraghna, a cultural centre was inaugurated. The inauguration was attended by the Minister of culture Touria Jebrane Kriyatif, Bruno de Thomas, Ambassador and Chairman of the E.U. commission in Morocco, as well as a number of Moroccan artists and actors. They went round an exhibition of paintings by the pupils of the area, were shown round the facilities of this cultural institution, and given explanations about the different activities it offers.
