Abstract

A delegation of journalists and the Minister of equipment and transport, Mr Karim Ghellab, in a field visit to the construction site of the Ring Road. The road is being built in partnership with the European Union within the framework of the MEDA program. This road is expected to link Tangiers, North of Morocco, with the coastal station of Saidia in the East, at a distance of 510 km. It will solve the problem of isolation in the rural areas where mountain roads are rough. Moreover, it will support the economy and tourism in northern Morocco. The delegation visited the part linking Ajdir to ElJebha, at a distance of 103 km.
