About 12 000 Moroccan immigrants live in Denmark. "Radio Copenhagen" was founded on April 1, 2003 to communicate with them and enable them to keep in touch with their home country. The broadcast programs aim at informing the immigrants about events in their country, and strengthening their relations with their religious and cultural origins as well as their traditions. Throughout interviews with Amtales Mohamed and M'hamed Mimouni, the two supervisors in radio Copenhagen revealed their ambition to create a Moroccan TV channel in Denmark.Type
