Abstract

"The Mahadra" is the equivalent of an ancient school nowadays, but the difference is that it is linked to the life of the desert people... It is a popular moving university, not only for learning the Quran, but also for acquiring doctrinal and linguistic knowledge... The initiative to rehabilitate this rich cultural heritage, part of the southern region features, is embodied in Jeloua school which has now become a reality. We will discover, through views, pictures and meetings with scholars and different components of the local society, the achievements of this school "Mahadra", not only at the educational level but also at the level of treatment and cure of some psychopaths and some drug addicts.
