Abstract

A new migration wave started in the late 70's and the early 80's towards Europe. It was composed of Moroccan students who joined European institutes and universities. This is considered as the beginning of the brain drain as Europe retained many of them, after they had graduated, to work in hospitals and scientific research. France has been a destination for Moroccan students because of the facilities it offers such as, scholarships and job opportunities after graduation. The program shows examples of these students both in France and the United States.
