Abstract

Many Moroccan families living abroad choose to come back to the country not only to meet their friends and family members, but also for weddings. This episode is about the wedding of a young Moroccan living in Belgium who chose the city of Oujda to celebrate his marriage. The ceremony took place in a wedding hall, it was a traditional wedding with all the ceremonial rites; the bride was wearing an authentic Moroccan Kaftan during the henna ceremony, she was then carried on shoulders amid a crowd singing traditional songs.
