Abstract

Interview with the Moroccan international football player Larbi Benmebarek ( 16/04/ 1914 - 16/ 9/1992). Hadj Larbi recalls his childhood in the streets and alleys of his birth place, the ancient city of Casablanca, where he started practising football in the early twenties. The programme is interspersed with the famous song of Abdelhadi Belkhayat:"the train of life", as well as testimonies of Benmebarek's friends and companions about his career in Morocco, Spain and France.
