The working of copper began in Tunisia since the reign Aghlabid and it has spread to other cities and especially in the capital Tunis and was developed thanks to the Syrian families. Imported copper is manufactured in a specialized souk "Souk Ennahas". The steps in making copper utensils include: shaping, engraving, mortally.
