The traditional copper industry knew its golden age in Tunisia in the 18th century, mainly in big cities as Tunis, Sfax and Qairawan. Craftsmen manifacture the bride's requirements, ustensils and art works which they decorate with silver strings. The hammered copper, as any other traditional craft, requires skills and patience. Though tourists are interested in copper craft and products, young tunisians are reluctant to it.Type
