Abstract

This documentary deals with the theme of the Tunisian railroad, in particular of the routes of inner Tunisia and of those that join the capital to the northwest. The documentary also analyses natural, geographical, historical, cultural and social data that influenced the Tunisian railroad network, in particular in the mine zones. The trains were first used to transport minerals, in the sectors of industry and export. The railroad plays an important role in the development of the Tunisian territory.
