Special program about the first anniversary of the Tunisian Revolution, entitled “17th of December, 14th of February 2011: the calm comes after the storm”. Everything started with the young revolutionaries, in Sidi Bouzid, who lighted the flame of the Tunisian Revolution, on the 18th of December. Popular marches and protests came next, in Sidi Bouzid, claming the right to work and development. The flame of the revolt spread to the neighbor areas (Al-Rakab and Bouziane), then to the entire Tunisian territory. Civilian disobedience prevails in the vast majority of the towns and provoked the death of a first martyr in Al-Rekab. This documentary includes the declarations of the families of the victims, who tell the proceedings of the events between the 17th of December, 2010, and the 14th of February, 2011. Extracts from the Tunisians’ historical march, on the 14th of February, 2011, in Lahbib Bourguiba Street, the day the people told Ben Ali: “Out” This episod is dedicated to the martyrs of the Revolution and to their families.Type
