Abstract

The town of Tataouine, or the gem in the South, is located far South of Tunisia and is the home of the most important cultural and touristic heritage of the country, that is: the Ksour of the Desert or the Castles of the Desert. The program “Memory of a city” is a documentary that hilights the historical, geographical, architectural, economic and social characteristics of the town of Tataouine, through the presentation of its main features and monuments. Testimonies of the inhabitants of Tataouine on its characteristics and specificities that distinguish it from the other towns.
