Abstract

This second part of the documentary dedicated to Tunis, keeps on visiting the different historical and religious buildings with a visit in Dar El Jouali, which, as Dar El Seram, Dar El Abedellah or even Dar El Houssine, reveals heritage buildings with an unknown architectural aspect of Tunis. These properties mainly belonged to tunisian rich families. They had a particular interior architecture. They all divided in four parts: -Dar dyouf to meet guests and visitors, -Dar Elharkat where the kitchens and food supply are, -Dar Elkjhadam for housemaids, nurses and households, -Dar Alâyla is reserved for the owners. Among the different buildings which represent the educational side of Tunis, there is Zeytouna mosque and Sadekya school, founded in 1870 by Kheyr-Eddin Tounssi at the age of Mohammed El Sadok-Bey (Sadok Bey).
