Abstract

As a reporting, this program named "memories of a city" gives us a global vision of the city of Jendouba and the village of Belta, which is named about cheikh Saleh Balti. People appreciate to visit the village for its charm. They also visit the village to pray for cheikh Saleh Balti, reading Qur'anic verses on his grave. The region is also known for others sanctuaries and zawaya, as that of Sidi Ahmed Ennouri and that of Medin. Jendouba is also full of historical buildings and old mosques as Jamea Elhafnaoui and Jamea Elkadim (1887). In this reporting, we also visit the coastal place of Darahem and souks of products made in bamboo and wood. These products are a historical testimony of the local crafts.
