Abstract

It's a serie of documentaries reports, some produced by TV3 and others acquired, that focus on subjects related to the sea and people from around the world who live off of it. The subject is treated from all angles: social, geographic and economic. This report is on Formentera, one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Mediterranean. Its inhabitants still live off of farming and fishing and though tourism has taken its toll there, the islanders try to keep it under control so that their island can remain a peaceful haven.
