Abstract

Presentation of the 18th edition of the MEDFILM Festival and of the selections made by its director, Ginella Vocca. Slovenia is the Guest country of this edition and was represented, among its young authors, by the director Damjan Kozole, who received the 2012 Career Award. He is the author of “Slovenka”, a movie about the transformation of contemporary Slovenia. The leitmotif of all movies presented to this Festival are feelings and relationships. Among participants were also directors such as Damjan Kozole, Jan Cvitrovic, who presented his latest feature film, "Archeo", and Giovanni Piperno who received a special award for the movie "Le cose belle" which he co-directed jointly with Agostino Ferrente. To close the interview, the Algerian actress Adila Bendimerad talks about the movie "Le Repenti" for which she received an award for artistic expression in this edition of the MEDFILM Festival.
