Abstract

In the region of Tadla Azilal, the content of aedés tribe repertory (Imdyaz) is closely linked agricultural and pastoral life. As soon as spring approaches, itinerant berber poets come down from the mountains to the plain. They take a traditional route along which they visit the main tribes. The group consists of a "boughanim"( man with a flute), a musician, a buffoon, a comic and two "Imdyazen" or itinerant poets using a single-skin tambourine skilfully .
