Abstract

During the Moussem of Moulay Abdellah Amghar, south of El Djedida, each daybreak, men leave in procession towards a beach outside the camp and bathe with their mounts. The horsemen of the atlantic plains set huge tents and take to the fantasia during the moussem, in " mahratte" arena, at the site of the former "irbat" of "Tit".
