Abstract

Drought and famine struck Morocco hard during the forties, affecting much of the Moroccan population. These two scourgeswere aggravated by the invasion of grasshoppers that devastated the crops. Rihab Ettarikh will try to highlight that period and recall the Moroccans' living conditions at that time. The team will rely on historical documents resection. It will also interview with some historians and researchers who shed light on this dark part of the history of Morocco.
