Abstract

Safi leaves no one indifferent. As soon as you visit it, you are immediately captivated by the beauty of its architecture. Its imposing wall, still intact, as if by magic immerses you in the distant past, where the medina was a major Phoenician counter in the Mediterranean countries. Then, at the time of the Almohads, a stone wall was erected ,it was destroyed by the Portuguese afterwards and replaced by a fortress. The sea castle, the cathedral and Dar Sultan are a few jewels of architecture in this city, now the capital of the region of Abda. The "Namadij ' team reveals some historical treasures enclosed in the walls of Safi.
