The conferences organized in the framework of " thinking the Mediterranean" constitute a tool of dialogue and exchanges. Their themes are centered on the shared memories, the cultural, historical and commercial roots common to the inhabitants of the region. Christian Bromberger evokes the enthropology of the mediterranean world, the meetings, the exchanges, the intense movement of people, techniques, cuisine, music, but cultural miscegenation? Beyond the differences, mediterranean societies share a common universe. In fact, the mediterranean world can be a system of complementary differences, but can we call it hybridity? The reciprocal oppositions are the ones which define the specificity of the relations within this space.Type
