Abstract

Dr Ismail Seradj-Eddine, Director of the library of Alexandria, said that in this episode he’ll continue to talk about the modern Egyptian art in the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. He pointed to a number of books related to this topic, among them: “Panorama of Egyptian Art in the 20th century”. And to many works that relate modern art with the art of Haiku or all kinds of poetry such as classical translations of Haiku (Haiku is poetry from Japan), then he pointed to books for children, written by Adli Rezk-Allah, in which he teaches them how to appreciate art and have cultural Knowledge of art. He also has many other books such as: “how a country sees an artist and his paintings”. Dr Ismail pointed also to a book written by Ismat Dawstashi, entitled “History of Alexandria Atelier” “Group of artists and writers”, from 1934 to 2004. There are other works by Salah Tahir.
