AbstractTreasures of the past, "the fifties": A collection of the most famous Arab and foreign songs in the fifties presented by a group of young singers. The song "Arefa" by the singer Ali El Haggar was written by Baha Jaheen, composed and distributed by Omar Khairat . Ali Hajjar is one of the most prominent singers from the generation of the eighties . His father ,the artist Ibrahim Al Hajjar and his grandfather Ali Hajjar were religious singers in Beni Suef . He was born in Imbaba and learnt the Quran at an early age. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, At Helwan University. He was famous for his song ' Salina al Fajr Finn' (Where we prayed Dawn ) and many of other songs ; He also worked in soap operas as ' Rihlat Abu Alaa Bashari 'Yassine and Bahia', 'Awlad shawareh' (Street children), and in musicals as( street children,) ' Aborit Scheherazade,' Itnin ala-Hawa' , ' Lila min alf lili wa lila ' 'Rasasa fi Kalb' (a bullet in the heart ) . Some of his songs are : 'Abir Sabil' , 'Tjish Naeesh' . He also played in some video films . He didn't sing when he played the role of ' Al Fata sherir '( The wicked youth ) .
