Dr Ismail Saradjeddine, Director of the library of Alexandria, said that paper was invented in China before the beginning of the current era, at the time of the ancient library of Alexandria. Paper underwent emprovements at the level of the cloth, and in Egypt papyrus was used. The use of paper in China was very limited, it spread with the emergence of modern printing.Type
