Abstract

This section discusses the challenges to build democracy and get rid of the tyranny of the old constitution, and which are:   1 - the total elimination of the Constitution and laws imposed a tyrannical manner, in the past and replace them by other laws to ensure the democratic transition,   2 - Reconstruction and restructuring of state and the ability to hold accountable all those who occupy leadership positions,   3-rid politics of the imbalances that have prevented the active participation of citizens in politics and elections,   4 - to address social and economic injustices inherited from the corrupt regime of Mubarak, where 40% of the population lives below the poverty line and one third is illiterate, in a nation that is no more consistent with its institutions.
