To mark the centenary of the founding of the Académie Goncourt, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina wishes to express its commitment to the Francophonie, welcoming its president, Edmonde Charles-Roux and several of its members and award winners of the prize that it awards. This is to show the public the history and peculiarities of the Academy and the award that bears its name.
