The programme features the destruction of a Royal Eagle's nest due to felling in the forest of Stavros tis Psokas on the Troodos Mountains. Two nestlings found in the nest are handed over to the care of the Cypriot Bird-Watcher's Association. Raised in captivity, they are then set free in the wild. The Royal Eagle is a very rare bird in Cyprus, being the largest predatory bird on the island. At the time of filming of this documentary, only three pairs of the bird lived on Cyprus.
