Abstract

The water crisis is growing and now crushes the peoples of Southern Mediterranean. How to ensure water for present and future generations? Water scarcity in the region has prompted the European Union to implement many projects related to its exploitation. The aim is to alleviate the crisis and find solutions that can help in the exploitation of water resources. The goal is also to implement projects in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine territories, Tunisia and Morocco, to help these countries exploit water resources more efficiently. The AMOC project aims to establish an exchange of information and knowledge in the field of water with countries of the Mediterranean partnership.
