Portrait of Albert Camus (1913-1960), French writer, who was born on November 7/ 1913 in Mondovi, currently Drean, Wilaya of El Taref in Algeria, and died on January 4 /1960 in Villeblevin. Author of “The Stranger”(1942) , “The Rebel” (1951)and “The Fall” (1956), Nobel Prize in 1957, this humanist, who combined generous action and uncompromising thought, marked the French literature with his singular, authentic style.
