Abstract

Bou Saada, also called the City of Happiness, is the gateway to the desert, situated at the crossroads of major caravans routes of the Maghreb. and at the foothills of the Ouled Nail mounts and the Saharan Atlas. The city is an oasis of lush vegetation .In Bou Saada, the picturesque beauty of the terrain combines with an oasis ecosystem maintained by the Bou Saada river. This documentary shows the palms, the library of the El hamel zaouia, where precious manuscripts are stored, some paintings of Nacer Eddine Dinet and his grave beside that of Slimane Brahim; the documentary ends on a happy note with a Ouled Nail dance, performed on the sound of Bedouin music.
