Abstract

The Ibn Rushd Institute proposes a program about “Sidi El Kebir from Blida”. According to Mr. Benaouda, cultural adviser of the city, Sidi Ahmed El Kebir was born in 1474, in Andalusia. Founder of the town of Blida, he was not only a man of religion but also an engineer, author of many works especially on the subject of irrigation. Visit of his mausoleum and that of Sidi Yacoub Cherif. Visit of Bensaadoune Mosque, the oldest of the city, within the garden of the sacred wood.
