Abstract

The major objective of Med-Mem is to set up a website which opens the audiovisual archives of the Mediterranean Region to the public. The existence of this site and the will to make this heritage always more visible should encourage the implementation of archives safeguard policies. A coordination meeting was held in Algiers on 12 and 13 October 2010.
