Abstract

Often called 'the Roman tombs,' the djedars consist of thirteen monuments that are still visible at Douar Haouaret. They recall somewhat both the Medracen, large tumulus raised around the 3rd century BC near the Aures, and the Tomb of the Christian (1st century BC), near Tipaza. The film crew accompanied a group of young archaeologists during their excavations.
