Abstract

The series is devoted to the oral and written Algerian cultural heritage, handed down from generation to another and preserved by individuals in the mosques and Zaouias of the country. Louata is an old Berber Ksar, located in the middle of a road between Beni Abbes and Ksar Kerzaz. Interviews with Abdoun Ben Azi, columnist, on the history of the Ksar (city), Sheikh El Allali about education in the Ksar and Sheikh Abdelaziz on the history of the zaouïa and the teaching it provides. Igli, a city located between Taghit and Beni Abbes, was once inhabited by a Berber tribe named Guellaoua. It houses the mausoleums of Sidi Abdelkader El Djillani and Sidi Mohamed.
