Abstract

The series is devoted to the Algerian oral and written cultural heritage, handed down from generation to another and maintained by individuals in the mosques and Zaouias of the country. The Djurdjura is a mountain range on the Mediterranean coast that extends from Draa Mizan to Adekar. The peak of the mountain, Lalla Khadija, is the starting point of Tahar Ben Aicha' s journey, in search of the manuscripts and history of those who have contributed to the preservation of both oral and written Algerian cultural heritage in Kabylia.
