Abstract

According to his relatives, he is like an eel, multifaceted, generous and competent: Sid Ali GHARBI devotes his time to training divers and rescuers. He made of it his job, assistant instructor. He is currently President of the Algerian Federation of Rescue, relief and underwater activities. This “water man” who gave his word to fish that he would not fish them out, developed and launched schools like the "Espadon"(swordfish)Club and other private schools,returns to the beginnings of diving in Algeria, either as a hobby or as a professional activity. He proudly displays trophies that Algerians have won in international competitions. “He spends more time at sea than with us, “his wife says”.
