Abstract

In a village of Kabylie, the only cure for the disease afflicting Malha who is cloistered at home, is a flake of that "eternal snow" her father should get from the peaks of the mountain. It's finally a youngster, Moh, who has the courage to go and get it for her. Once his daughter is cured, Malha ’s father decides to marry her to an old man. Moh is desperate and retired to the mountain where he becomes "a seller of snow."
