Abstract

Tayeb El Okbi was a member of the Association of Algerian Muslim Oulemas (scholars). He was born in Biskra in 1889 and emigrated at the age of five with his family to the Hijaz, in Saudi Arabia. Later, he moved from Medina to Mecca where he grew and graduated in theology.
