Abstract

The olive tree, whose growing in Algeria dates back to the fourth millennium BC , is a widespread tree in Kabylia and adapts very well to the climate and relief that are essentially for tree -dwelling . It should be noted that the period of the olive harvest is at the beginning of each winter, with all its ups and downs, but it gives the people in countrysides an economic occupation of interest and allows them to spend pleasant moments in the fields , especially when there is sunshine and when it is relatively mild.
