Abstract

Famous by its blazing ksours architecture, Saoura is limited by the ksours mounts in the north and the High Moroccan Atlas, by the hamada (plateau) of the Drâa in the west , by the havens of the Tidikelt in the east and by the plateau of Tanezrouft in the south . A scenery made of Guir's hamada moon landscapes which is contrasting with the golden splendid dunes of the great Western Erg. Palm groves and ksour (Igli Beni Abbes, El Ouata, Beni Ikhlef, Kerzaz, Ouled Khoudir and Ksabi), succeed each other along the wadis.
