Gabriel Shahine Youssef was born in 1926 in Alexandria. When hewas 21, he left Egypt to study about the cinema in Los Angeles. Actor, director, screenwriter and a producer, he produced nearly 40 films and documentaries. Here he talks about the new generation of actors and filmmakers and film development. Excerpts from his films are presented to illustrate his point of view .
