Abstract

Croatia's towns on the coast were always well conected wtih ships and boats. With a new highway Dalmatina, many travellers choose roads, and not boats anymore. The shiping companies are regarding the termination of the conection between Rijeka -Split-Dubrovnik. But still there are many people in love with the see and the boats. They prefere 12 hours travelling by an oldfashion way than quicker driving on fast motorways. Ana Peraica is one of them. She lives in Dubrovnik, gives lectures in Rijeka and twice a week, she travels with a boat back and forth.
