Abstract

Maguy Roubaud’s guest: Rene Allio, filmmaker and director of the center of Mediterranean filmmaking, and Jean Henri Roger, Director from Marseille, author of ‘Cape Canaille’. Rene Allio evoked memories of his childhood in a working class neighborhood in his film ‘the exquisite hour’, from which we see a short excerpt. With the creation of the filmmaking center of Fontblanche, he wanted to give back to Marseille and the region their vocation born with the Pagnol studios. The center’s aim is to train young people attracted by that career and help young filmmakers by providing a rather technical than financial assistance.
