Abstract

Documentary made on behalf of the General Residence of France in Tunis. Tunisia is presented as the ‘natural crossroads of the Latin Sea’. Presentation of the major sites of the country: Carthage, Bizerte, Sfax, Sousse, Tabarka… Sequences of tuna fishing in Cape Bon, using the traditional Mediterranean technique of the trap and sardine lamplight fishing in Mahdia.
