Abstract

Farmers were invited to the Elysee to discuss with the President the opening of the Common Market to Greece, Portugal and Spain. Viticulture, for example, is facing many surpluses. And the EEC suggests either a higher quality or a conversion. Vegetable growers also fear the arrival of the Italian Spanish and Greek competition on the markets.
