Abstract

In November 2008, in Lecce (Italy), the international organization "Forum for Peace in the Mediterranean" held a meeting devoted to the challenges facing countries and peoples around the Mediterranean. Under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and on the initiative of the Palestinian people, politicians, religious and intellectuals have discussed the prospects for peace between Palestinians and Israelis and the possibility of an Islamic-Christian dialogue. A comment on factual images and illustration alternates with excerpts from speeches and interviews of the protagonists of the forum.
