Abstract

Abderrahim Hafidi dedicates his show to a great dynasty that ruled the Muslim world from the late 13th century until the establishment of the Turkish Republic: the Ottoman Empire. In this second part, he receives Gilles Veinstein, Professor at College de France, and Charlotte Maury, a scientific advisor at the Louvre Museum, to talk about the footprint of the Ottoman Empire on Muslim art, culture and architecture. The interview is illustrated by a short subject on the arts and culture in the Ottoman Empire.
