Abstract

One of the paradoxes of the Kyoto Protocol allows companies to trade the right to pollute in a country by producing 'clean' elsewhere. For the first time in Morocco, a French cement manufacturer has opened a site powered by wind turbines. After a significant investment for this ecological installation, the company wonders how to manage its pollution credit. Comments on pictures alternating with interviews with Ayoub Azami, director of the plant in Tetouan and Abderahman Karkich, mayor of the town of Tetouan.
